Water Pik works just as well – Anso – Las Vegas
Pulsatile irrigation is an expeptional idea. Two years ago I had sinus surgery and the cilia that filter in my face became paralyzed casuing fluid to back up in my sinus like a plugged up toilet. My accupuncturist recommended the water pik because it blasts up into all the sinus cavaities and it pulsates like the ciilia casiing them to move again. An allergist gave me the Grossan tip that can be atttached to it. I bought the Water Pik have used it for two years now and it works better than the Neil med bottle , Netti pot or saline spray. Grossan has created a similar machine, but too may complaints are made of it breaking after one year or just quitting altogether. There is a rival hydra pulse machine that I would buy first, it seems to be better built. But the Water Pik works just as well, just buy Grossans replacement tip to go on it. I rinse with 2 tsp sea salt (iodine salt tends to irritate the passages), 1 tsp baking soda, and 2 tsp Xylitol sugar substitute ( can buy at local health food markets-studies have shown it has properties that wash away bacteria and prevent bacteria from further growing in sinus), I mix it in 4 cups distilled water and rinse twice a day. It works just as well. Grosssan needs to get with his manufacturer and try to improve the machine, it’s too much money to spend on something that will break too easily.
